Smiley Kyiv :)

Starts at the Eastern exit of "Golden gate" metro (subway) station on Green line to Volodymyrska street. Go down the street and in one minute you will be on the square in front of the National Opera, move around the Opera to Lysenko street and you will back to Golden Gate - magnificent museum complex. Visit Monument to Yaroslav the Wise and then go inside Golden Gate, yes, it's posible to enter the Gate and go up to the Church on the head of the Fortification. From Golden Gate move straight Zolotovoritska street and soon you will reach square with Statue of Hedgehog in the Fog visit this nice sculpture and than go around the wall to the entrance to Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv, visit it's museums, don't forget to go up to the bell tower and then go ahead to Sophiyivska square (Sophia Square) in front ot cathedral, in the center of the square there is Monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky and then go to the small Rylsky lane in the end of square and visit cute Statue of donkey. Than keep going by Volodymyrska street and on the first crossroad turn to the left to Velyka Zhytomyrska street in about one hundred meters turn to the right to the arch in the building and you will reach Peyzazhna aleya (Landscaped walkway of modern art), pass this amazing place and at the end of the walkway you will find National Historical Museum of Ukraine, if you have a time visit it - you'll need few hours at least for it. Than back to Volodymyrska street and cross the road you will see St Andrew's Church in front of you, but first visit famous Statue of Golokhvosty and Pronya Prokopivna, then go down to the Church. Now you are at the Kyiv's Monmart - Andriyivskyy Descent move down this amazing place, if about 400 meters you will see metal stairs going up to the hill on your left hand - use it to reach Zamkova Hora (Castle Hill), where you'll find nice view to Descent and Podil, back to the Descent and keep going move down at the corner of the street you will see Mikhail Bulgakov Museum. After visiting museum just keep going move down the street and you will reach Kontraktova square at the end of descent. Here you can go to the left to "Kontraktova ploscha" metro (subway) station or go by Petro Sahaidachny street and reach "Poshtova ploscha" metro station.
